For the Animal Farm discussion group, I had a lot of
room to improve on. Based on the first rubric I needed to improve upon my depth
of discussion, participation, and my overall energy. My attempts to improve
these categories included me creating better questions to create a depth of
discussion, and participating in every round. I thought that through my
improvements I did a lot better in the second discussion. Our group is doing a
nice job to have a good discussion by having all the jobs done in complete,
asking good in depth questions, and having everyone participate. Although are
group is doing quite good there is also a lot of room for improvement. First,
our group could work on having everyone sharing their personal opinions. A
second improvement our group could work on is having even better questions to create
a chain of discussion. In order to achieve a better discussion I think our
group needs to allow thinking time after a question, involve everyone to
share their opinions, and put more time into creating questions to share.
